It is peaceful and has wonderful people there
We spent the past four days and three nights at this very nice place. We loved going for evening walks, as it was quiet and fellow campers were very friendly. Upon check in we found the owners to be super friendly along with a newly remodeled camp store. The camp sites were very spacious and we had some shade as well. We did not use the pool as we were doing other things during the day and it was closed at 5pm. I did some fishing all three nights in all three of their ponds and caught bass, and Blu gill. The ponds were not big at all, but all had fish in them. We saw six ducks that were extremely friendly, especially when, you had some bread to feed them. We would definitely stay at this campground again if we are in the area. Thank You for a nice pleasant stay.
Very nice tree filled campground. Not much activities accept a pool and a few arcade games. One owner is not very friendly. Prefer Circle M campground for more activities and nicer caring staff.
My husband and I have been camping for 10 years now and we recently found Hidden Acres. It has become one of out favorite campgrounds. The grounds are clean. The staff is friendly. They have activities for the kids, 2 playground and a pool.
My family and I stayed here during the spring and we loved this campground. We spent a year traveling around the country in an RV, and there aren't too many places with the character and charm of Hidden Acres. The owners have done some great renovations and additions to the campground, and it looks like they have no plans to stop. We found it convenient to drive 15 minutes to the train station and spend the day in Philadelphia. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a home base near many of Pennsylvania's attractions. Oh, and the kid's park will take you back to your childhood!
