One GREAT park.
Nice place in the woods. It's really easy to get into from the bypass, but, it's plenty secluded enough to not hear any gunfire from Coatesville!
Good place for scouts camping. There are trails right by the campground and open field for group activity. Also an amphitheater for a movie night.
This was my first time camping and I loved every minute of it. The park is perfect for a newbie like me and the park rangers we're awesome. They lit a fire for me and felt right at home. I highly recommend this park, which is very kid friendly and has a very clean playground.
Has a little bit of everything. The park rangers are friendly. They have a couple kids play areas and playground structures, historic buildings, a lake, a large Creek, fishing pond, paved and well groomed walking trails, biking trails, horse friendly trails, picnic areas, camping, ruins, orienteering, lots of events... I'm probably missing a lot. It's a great place. Only thing I wish they would add is a nice disc golf course.
I live across the street from this place, and find it safe for walking my dog. Many trials, and paths to explore and the lake is all that
