God Bless these guys! They are the best! I'm very grateful that they helped me out of a dangerous situation in which I managed to put myself. Thank you from the snowy bottom of my heart.
Yesterday I tried to walk through an unplowed driveway of snow to get to my mailbox. I am 71 years old and not in very good condition; that should have stopped me from such a chore. But it didn't. I got the mail and sent some mail out, which I haven't been able to do since the storm started on Friday night; but when I started the return trip, well, I tripped! I fell down into the soft snow and couldn't get up.
Tiny townships police departments need to be wiped out, this is the biggest waste of money for such a small area. These people have nothing to do except harass people and figure out how many citations they can write a day to make every penny they can off the backs of people working for a living. These people are not the cream of the crop, these are people who could barely get through high school and were picked on in elementary school so now they have ultimate power in East Fallowfield pa. There’s state cops all over the area that could cover this tiny town. I don’t think you should be able to become a cop unless you served active duty military, then you learn the real definition of sacrifice and maybe have empathy for citizens. If they learned these skills, people would trust the police, and be more willing to speak with them without fear of a jaywalking citation they pull out of there ass. unfortunately we pay for this PD thats supposed to work for us, but they work for the local court system and the citations are the cops sale's numbers. we need less cops, we have plenty of hall monitors
Fortunately I had a cell phone with me and called 911. In less time than I can even tell you, two wonderful police officers (one being the Chief) were helping me to my feet. They not only got me up out of the snow, they escorted me on foot through the deep snow back to my home.
